The idea of mail order homes is not new. Sears and Roebuck were the leaders in America from 1908 to 1940. Many of these early "kit homes" are now historical landmarks all across America.

PMHI has taken the kit home concept many steps further than we are sure that Sears ever dreamed of. Instead of only being able to order standard kits from a catalog, PMHI will take your ideas and dreams and turn them into preliminary plans and then working, engineered plan sets for the actual construction of your home. Of course, we can provide the building materials too...worldwide!

How does this work? Easy, there are only 3 basic steps. Each step is independent and does not require any further commitments from you.

This service is ONLY available by e-mail, and is limited to clients living and planning to build OUTSIDE of California and other areas where we do NOT have local representation.

1. We take your ideas and provide you with a preliminary floor plan and elevations. This is a free service. We will also provide you with an estimate of your package cost.

2. Upon your approval of the preliminary plan in step #1, you then have the option of contracting with our Drafting and Engineering Services using or Custom Plan Drafting Service Agreement & Custom Plan Drafting Service Conditions (Requires Adobe Acrobat Reader; see note below) to turn your preliminary plan into a full set of working drawings acceptable by most building departments world wide (translation and local specific requirements, such as site plans, are not included.)

3. Upon completion of your working drawings and engineering, we will provide you with a package quote. There is not a charge for the package quote. BUT, if you order the package, we will credit you 50% of all Drafting Service charges for each package ordered from that plan...up to 100% of all charges!
